Job Research Project – Roles and Responsibilities (Grade 1 Social Studies)

This project is intended as a culminating task for Grade 1 Social Studies – Our Changing Roles and Responsibilities, aligned with the NEW 2023 Ontario Social Studies Curriculum.

Students will research different jobs. To make the research process simple, easy-to-read job booklets are included for 8 different jobs: Farmer, Pilot, Firefighter, Teacher, Veterinarian, Dentist, Artist, and Doctor. When they have researched their job, they will make a job badge that they would wear if they were an adult who is doing that job.
