Parts of Speech Lessons for Google Slides™ | EDITABLE (Grade 1-3)

This resource is 8 Google Slides™ slideshows for 8 different parts of speech: Adjectives, nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, and interjections. Each slideshow contains information about what the part of speech is, examples, practice using the part of speech in a sentence, locating the part of speech in a sentence, and lyrics to a fun original song about the part of speech. These slideshows are perfect introductions to minilessons on each part of speech for students in Grade 1-3 or for English Language Learners.

The fun original song lyrics are great memory aids to help students remember what the part of speech is and some examples for it. The lyrics are parodies of popular children’s songs that are in the public domain. (e.g. Adjectives – “The Itsy, Bitsy Adjective”).
