Science Resources

The Ontario Science curriculum is organized into four strands: Life Systems, Structures and Mechanisms, Matter and Energy and the Earth and Space System. Each grade focuses on a different topic within each of these four strands. Along with teaching a foundation of knowledge, the Science curriculum provides the opportunity for students to learn scientific inquiry, experimentation, and researching skills.

Our Science resources teach key concepts and guide students through the process of asking questions, following procedures, accessing information, recording observations, drawing conclusions and using appropriate vocabulary.
