Believing – Catholic Workbook (Grade 5 Religious Education)

This workbook covers the Believing strand in the Grade 5 Catholic Religion curriculum for Ontario schools.

This workbook helps students explore the Church’s role in handing on Divine Revelation and the historical development of the Creed. Through engaging activities and reflection questions, students will gain a deeper understanding of how the Apostles’ Creed and Nicene Creed were formed and how they express core Christian beliefs rooted in both the Old and New Testaments.

Aligned with curriculum expectations, this resource also examines the Church’s mission to witness to holiness. With a combination of scripture readings, historical context, and creative exercises, students will reflect on how the Church continues to uphold and share these foundational teachings.
