In this workbook, students learn about Développement de la personne et santé sexuelle (Human Development and Sexual Health) aligned with the new 2019 Grade 7 Ontario FRENCH Santé (Health) Curriculum.

In this workbook, students will explore human development, focusing on the physical, social, and emotional changes during puberty. They will learn about sexual health, self-concept, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Topics include romantic relationships, communication, consent, abstinence, unplanned pregnancies, and contraceptives. The workbook also covers sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood-borne infections (STBBIs), including prevention strategies and vaccinations.

There is a variety of readings, short answer questions, and creative thinking activities included to create a varied workbook suitable for many learning styles.

To support assessment practices, Ontario curriculum expectations are clearly identified on each page. A unit test is included at the end of the workbook.
