Living a Moral Life – Catholic Workbook (Grade 5 Religious Education)

This workbook covers the Living a Moral Life strand in the Grade 5 Catholic Religion curriculum for Ontario schools.This workbook helps students explore how Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the Mount and the New Commandment bring the Ten Commandments to fulfillment. Through scripture readings, reflections, and engaging activities, students will deepen their understanding of how the Law of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit guide us toward living a moral life.

Aligned with key curriculum expectations, this resource also examines the role of conscience in moral decision-making, helping students recognize their responsibility for their actions. Additionally, students will learn about the teaching authority of the Church (Magisterium) and how it provides guidance on moral issues, promoting human dignity and the call to holiness.
