This workbook covers the Living a Moral Life strand in the Grade 8 Catholic Religion curriculum for Ontario schools.
This workbook supports students in developing a deeper understanding of what it means to live a moral life as a follower of Christ. Centred on key teachings of the Catholic Church, this resource explores how the Moral Law (including the Natural Moral Law, the Ten Commandments, and the Law of the Gospel) guides us in upholding human dignity, bearing witness to the Truth, and building a just and loving society.
Students will learn how Scripture, the Church’s Magisterium, and the Holy Spirit work together to help form a healthy, upright conscience. Activities and scenarios invite students to reflect on real-life moral choices and the importance of seeking truth and goodness in everyday decisions.
