This workbook covers the Personal Safety and Injury Prevention unit in the Grade 3 Ontario Health Curriculum (2019).
In this workbook, students will learn about the essentials of safety in various settings, starting with tips for safely walking to school. The workbook covers a range of topics including fire safety protocols, emergency procedures, camping and water safety guidelines, and awareness around animals.
Students will also explore personal hygiene practices, Halloween safety precautions, and delve into internet safety with a dedicated quiz. The workbook then transitions to understanding safety equipment, concussion prevention, and comparing different types of violence, both fictional and real, fostering a comprehensive understanding of personal safety and well-being.
