Remembrance Day Literacy Activities (Grade 4-6 Language)

This package of Remembrance Day Literacy Activities includes poetry and reading comprehension activities to allow Grade 4-6 students to think about our Veterans and the people who have been impacted by war.

There are 2 reading comprehension activities (text and questions) about Remembrance Day and poppies. There is also a poetry study of John McCrae’s “In Flanders Fields,” which leads students to make their own Remembrance Day poems.
