This Narrative Writing Unit has EVERYTHING you need – worksheets, slides, and an engaging culminating task – to get your students excited about writing narratives. The unit includes a 15-day unit plan to help you fit all the useful teaching content included altogether.
Worksheets: Students will enjoy completing a scaffolded workbook that teaches important narrative writing skills, like identifying purpose, topic, and audience, and proper formatting and organization. Students will complete a structured culminating task called “Narrative Writing Assignment” which guides them through structuring and writing a creative narrative on a topic of their choice.
