This workbook covers the Believing strand in the Grade 6 Catholic Religion curriculum for Ontario schools.
This workbook helps students explore the Church’s teaching on how the human person comes to know and believe in God. Through engaging activities and reflection questions, students will examine how faith is formed through the created world, the natural light of reason, God’s self-revelation in Sacred Scripture, and the handing-on of faith by the Church.
Aligned with curriculum expectations, this resource also guides students in understanding the mysteries of Jesus Christ’s hidden and public life, including the Incarnation, suffering and death, Resurrection, and Ascension. With a combination of scripture readings, historical context, and creative exercises, students will reflect on how these core beliefs shape Catholic faith.
Additionally, students will explore how the Church is called to witness to Catholicity in its mission. By connecting these teachings to real-world applications, this resource encourages students to deepen their understanding of the Church’s role in sharing and upholding the faith.
