Inspire your students to explore their creativity with this fun winter holiday activity. This resource includes 2 tasks: a skit assignment (groups) and a storytelling assignment (individual). This is a fantastic activity for the last few weeks of school before the winter holidays. It allows students to have fun and learn about the Elements of Drama.
All scenarios and settings in this activity are related to winter, not any one particular holiday. Santa Claus is included as a winter character, but the card can be left out.
This resource package contains three sets of winter holiday prompt cards (setting/character/scenario) which can be used for drama activities for Grades 4-8. The cards meet Ontario Language and Drama curriculum expectations. The resource contains a description with learning goals and success criteria for both tasks.
