IIn this culminating activity, students will design and present a Civic Action Plan focused on a real issue that matters to them (locally, nationally, or globally). Aligned with Strand C: Civic Engagement, Service, and Action of the Grade 10 Civics and Citizenship (CHV2O) curriculum, this project empowers students to take initiative, think critically, and propose informed solutions to real-world problems.
Working independently, students will research a civic issue from multiple perspectives, evaluate possible solutions, and recommend a course of action with real civic impact. This resource includes planning templates, research prompts, and presentation guidelines to support student success.
